The A's are in... 11 days time. How's the studying coming along?
Pretty well, i hope. For you wouldn't want to regret when the results are out.

What would our future hold? Reality is, everything boils down to the stupid cert we're all dying for. Mr. Dennis Yeo always says, the cert is a passport, to wherever you want to go. Would you end up in the mighty US, or our pathetic neighbour Malaysia? And when you get there... Whether you stay in a 5-star hotel, or whether you end up in a lousy cheap motel, pretty much depends on how good your wits & skills are to climb up the corporate ladder (please fret about that next time!).

We are all captains of our own destiny. When you get back your results next year, would you cry and grieve over the time you've wasted? Or would you smile and brace and many new opportunites that awaits you?

Picture yourself in March next year. And try to think about what you've done 5 months back (which is, actually.. now). I was "fishing" and had a feast at home. What about you?

Study hard, my friends. For everything would be over soon. You'd probably NEVER EVER HAVE TO TOUCH THE DAMN BOOKS ANYMORE.

well i thought i`d post a lil about the past 2 years with 05a06 !

i remember the very first friends i made , kenneth and ho shing, with ho shing have me thinkin that he`s some quiet and nice chap . right ? WRONG . but a pretty funny chap to hang out with i`d say !

kenneth, the guy who introduced to me about them `closets` .heh .

well some amendments to the bottom post by jieying , i guess i made up that bo la gang thing ! AYE . but well seeing that its in good hands now , why bother huh !

thinkin bout the past year really set me on memory bliss , i havent got a chance to know my other classmates better , hanging out more with the guys and all .

alot of memories i had with you guys ,
-chilling out at the weirdest places ..
-always trying to have class outings ..
-going to chc with kenneth shanqri and cxl..
-cheering the HGBLG ( hu gang bo la gang ) song in the toilet
-always begging hu gang for chewing gum
-perhaps the best house-bbq at jieying`s place ,
-tea chapter at chinatown ..
-and chilling out at china square after that , taking photos with that cow .
-checking out geylang`s red light district during night jaunt

A Journey To Remember.

Preface: An entry commemorating the last 20 months of our JC life. As most of us would probably know, next week would be the last week of the term. Farewell Assembly's coming. So, today, Min Ci, Joanne, and I spent some time, reminiscing the last 20 months of our lives... *WARNING: things might start getting emo (refer to Terms & Words used in 05A06) here... so please grab your tissue boxes*

Chapter 1: The Really "Special" Teachers We Used to Have.

1. Mr. Yeo Gim Sng as our Civics Tutor. Remember the 4 fingers thing he made us do with our uniform, followed by the big Hoo-Ha with the DM. And how he always made Kenneth, Alex, Shao Qi & Ho Shing stand at the 4 corners of the class. Yet, there were times when he was really nice & funny... All the chocs we used to pass around. His "L-sign" with his 5 fingers.

2. Mr. Peter Davis as our Physical Geog & PW teacher. How we always made his tutorials into our "chill-out time". A pity he had to leave... Glen, when is your nose gonna bleed again?

Chapter 2: Milestones

1. the Bo La Gang song - inspired by Hu Gang's BLK-ness. (R.E: February 14th entry) P.S. did you know our beloved Darius from 05A05 contributed to the lyrics?

2. Kaixin and her Broken Collarbone.

3. Opening of www.05A06.blgospot.com on the 8th November 2005. If it weren't for Ho Shing, Glen, and whoever else contributed to this idea, you peeps probably wouldn't be reading this right now.

4. The leaving of dearest Cindy, Jie Shi, Pammy, and Alex. We miss having you people around. *sobs*

5. The 1st attempt at holding a very 1st Class Outing, at Hotel Pheonix. Outcome? FAILED. (come to think of it. it probably was a curse. notice the amount of unsuccesful outings we had after that?)

6. FINALLY CAME 2006... New Members: Jasmine Ong, Su Yan, Yoke May and Adrian.

7. Probably the 1st most successful class outing, consisted of : Jacq, Yu Yan, Min Ci, Jasmine, Yoke May, Glen, Jing xing, Ho Shing, Shao Qi, Kenneth. Attendance: 10/20. JingXiang blogged for the first time too! (R.E. January 28th entry).

8. February 22nd - ASSHOLIC ARTS STUDENTS. probably one of the most memorable thing in our entire JC life. Thanks to the guys who were "blog-hopping". Look before you hop. (P.S. I just realised... that happened a couple of days before Jeff's birthday. i guss u guys made it an unforgettable one.)

9. March 2006 - Joanne & Yoke's Birthday. Fish & Co., K-Box, Carls Junior. We had fun, and everyone was looking good. Ho Shing, sad you didn't come.. I knew you were busy celebrating your Mum's Birthday. =) Followed by probably the only, and the most successful BBQ. Attendance: 14/20. Pity we didn't take much pictures.

10. April 2006 - Night Jaunt. Yet another.. successful class outing?

11. May 2006 - The Most Unlucky Month. We got chased out of the Student Lounge. and on that very day itself. 6... 6 guys got caught for making too much noise in the toilet. Unlucky? YES.
12. July 2006 - WORLD CUP FINALS. congrats to those who won money.

13. June, July, August were probably the months our blog was at it's pit. Lowest Entry Rates for 3 months consecutive. Kudos.

Chapter 3: Things You Would Probably Miss..

1. No more NATIONAL ANTHEM & PLEDGE TAKING!!! well, you could actually still catch them on the radio every morning at 6am. and the guys, IN CAMP. *evil laughter*

2. No more climbing over fences... No more skipping assembly. No more making out in Lecture Theatres...

3. No more 8am-2pm timetables. No more tutorials. No more DMs to watch over you. No more Wahab's smell to smell.. No more Econs lessons to sleep. No more Ong Jing Jing. No more Rocks, El-Nino (oh, check out Tats Young's El Ni-yo!).

4. MOST IMPORANTLY!!! no more EVELYN to kao beh with!!! HAHAHA!

Time Fries. It only seemed like yesterday when we saw each other. Only yesterday when we all thought Ho Shing was quiet. Only yesterday when Glen's fringe was still short.
And our A's, our departure... would come as soon as tomorrow.

Terms & Words Used In 05A06

Recently, Singapore released a book containing things abt Singapore... So I've decided to write one up of our class so tat a better understanding can be developed when we talk... This list includes terms and abbreviations ordered in alphabetical order... Meanings are given and alternatives to its usage r also provided... However, certain more offensive ones shall be left out so as nt to offend... Also, certain information which is already understood by the class shall nt be published so as nt to get into trouble.

A.A.S- Stands for Assholic Arts Students. Referred to by the "lovable" head of 6th student council. In reality, it can stand for Archery Association of Singapore or Automobile Association of Singapore.

A.B.C- Stands for Ah Beng Car. Refers to a car which is heavily modified, Zhnged(see Zhng), loud with techno blasting inside and fierce-looking. The car preference for A.B.S(see A.B.S). Those cars are usually Japanese make. Including brands such as Mazda, Honda, Toyota & Nissan. Popular car models are Honda Civic, Honda Integra, Nissian Skyline, Mazda RX-7, Mazda RX-8 & Mitsubishi Evolution. In reality, it can stand for American-Born Chinese.

A.B.S- Stands for Ah Beng Style. Used for reference to Ah Bengs or guys whu have such a style. In reality, it stands for Anti-lock Braking System.

A.L.S- Stands for Ah Lian Style. Used for reference to Ah Lians or girls with such a style.

B.L.K- Stands for Bo La Gang. The most famous and commonly used term in 05A06. Its creation originates from Hu Gang. It means to have no link or to say something which is totally unrelated to the current topic of discussion.

Breakfast Club- The club consist of 8 ppl. Jieying(leader), Kaixin, Nicole, Joanne, Yoke May, Chan Bao Chu(Yuyan), Min Chee(Minci) & Jacquelina(Jacqueline). AGMs are held every GP lesson(Feel free to join).

Chee Bye Xi4 Liao4- Same as Ji4 Bai4 Xi4 Liao4. Meaning to say that this time you are done for. However, due to the unique pronunciation by Yuyan, it sounds like someone's Chee Bye has died.

Chill Out- The act of hanging out. Usually takes place at C.O.P(see C.O.P), some corner or eating place. Activities include chatting, laughing and kao pehing.

Coffee Bean- Used for reference to Chio Bu so as nt to sound so obvious when they are within ear shot. Can also be a good place to chill out(see Chill Out).

C.O.P- Stands for Chill Out Place. Refers to the student lounge in PJC. The lounge was unofficially used by 05A06 before it even officially opened(pictures can be viewed from blog archives). It has becomed the official C.O.P of the class.

D.U.A.L.S- Stands for Damm Ugly Ah Lian Style. Used when referring to Ah Lians who look like shit.

E.C- Stands for Eye Candy. Used when referring to hunks and babes which appeal to you. Examples are Shuai ge and Coffee Bean(see Coffee Bean). In reality, it can stand for Executive Condominium.

Eye Sore(opposite of E.C)- Refers to ppl whom u dun like to see. Examples are D.U.A.L.S, F.C, F.C.B, F.F, I.T.E. & more.

Emo- Means to get emotional.

F.C- Stands for Fat Couple. Used to refer to a certain couple in PJC. In reality, it can stand for Football Club.

F.C.B- Stands for Fucking Chee Bye. Used to refer to a certain person/persons.

F.F- Stands for Fuck Face. Used to refer to a certain individual.

Shen3 Dian4 Xia2- Refers to a certain teacher.

Tweety Bird's Auntie- Refers to a certain teacher.

U.A.L.S- Stands for Ugly Ah Lian Style. Refers to Ah Lians who are nt as bad as D.U.A.L.S(see D.U.A.L.S), but still look like shit.

Varlid- Same as Valid except for the unique pronunciation by Jieying.

WAHAHAHAHA- The sound of loud laughter which pierces the silence in class. Usually contributed by Kaixin & Yoke May.

W.T.F- Stands for What The Fuck. Can also stand for World Taekwondo Federation.

X=X2-X1- The ultimate formula for writing GP essays.

X.L- Stands for Xia4 Lan3. Can also stand for Xue Li.

Xue2 Ni3, Ni3 Tan4 Nuai4 Mian4 You3 Niang3 Ni4 Niu2 Nian2- A sentence constructed by Kaixin who always pronounces her L's as N's(also Kan4 as Tan4) and it is trying to inform Xue Li that there are 2 durians outside.

Zhng- It means Modify. Term is used on cars. Example, Zhng My Car(modify my car).

Zou3 Neh1- Same as Zou3 Leh1 which means to ask a person to come along. The distortion of the term is due to the unique pronunciation by Glen. It is also sometimes heard as JOANNE if said fast enough.

Plz check this video of a tribute to perharps the best player ever to grace the field. He was the best player of his generation an amazing feat considering Pele n maradona was during his time. A true genius amazing pace, superb technique and a flair for beating defenders. What truly distincts him from some of the best is he played in bloodbaths masquerading as pitches and defenders that would have made accomplished assasins but he rode tackles and for christs's sake nothing seems to be able to bring him down... in the modern game such tackles would have instantly dismissed a player but this man has a massive prescence on the field. He failed to achieve a household name like pele or maradona because drugs n women ruined his career but can u imagine that even though he was drunk when he got down on the pitch he was producing moments of brilliance n displaying those sublime skills he was indeed a true legend. George best was the first football superstar he made Manchester United into the famous name it was today some call him the first beckham but that would be an understatement to this suave and cool gentleman. It was just too bad as his career was shortlived as drugs and women soon took over his life but he left Man U in glory as he devastated perharps one of the best team ripping apart the team's defence by scoring a hat trick against benfice resulting in an emphatic win and clinching the first Champions League cup for England. Oh well although george could pass the ball but he could not pass the night clubs which ultimately ruined his life.

Today the 22th of may seems to be one of e most interesting days in school.. With the perfect stormy weather, it is no wonder bad luck will befall 05a06. Today, it is believed that this class set a record in the whole of PJC's history. The record: Most students getting caught in a class 4 comitting offences in a day.
First, half of the class broke into the SL.. It should have a cooler name such as chill out place in short, C.O.P. Anyway, some ppl though being real tall and having such a long head sitting on a neck which likes to sway side to side while talking, seem to love hiding behind bookshelves while we were getting caught 4 breaking in. As we were walking out, i could spot a small smile breaking out from the side of his A Class mouth. I believe he has gained satisfaction from it that he has to control bursting out in evil laughter.
Next, detention of 30min has given due to the disturbance of the peace while we were in the toilet. Can anyone imagine? Getting detention 4 talking too loudly in the toilet. I think it would make a perfect 2 page article in the newpaper of the stupidest types of offenses one gets caught 4 in PJC. tyhe story would definately sell after the case of THE CONTRACT article in the newpaper last week.
If anyone after reading this feels the urge to write to the newpaper, please wait 4 the evidences. You will get sometime in the near future, nt 1, nt 2, but 6. YES I MEAN 6!!!! Personally, signed pieces of evidence by the accuser herself. PLUS!!!! By reporting, u will receive a free handphone worth $300+++. Worth it eh? BTW, the accuser walked into the toilet to 'book' us. That act is atrocious. That's a complete invasion of privacy. She should be sued..
